This video is in honor of Lynn Gilderdale, Sophia Mirza and the many others who have passed on as a result of severe ME/CFS. While these stories are difficult to hear, they are important stories to tell. Their courage must not be forgotten. Thank you for watching.
It hurts... such beautiful people and so much suffering...
I cannot believe that doctors are still so unaware and stubborn in their beliefs. It is about time that we are at least considered ill. That more research will be undertaken.
This is especially heart-wrenching in the light of a horrible article in this week's BMJ.
After watching this video, there can be no doubt who is being abused. And it's not the psychiatrists.
I keep thinking how Lynn and Sophia would feel knowing that years after their deaths, nothing has changed. When will this madness stop? How many more will we have to lose?
Very, very powerful and moving. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI was crying at the end of this one. I added it to the Becoming VISIBLE 4ME youtube channel and sent it viral. Thanks Laurel.
